Sharjah city have a famous yearly events like “Sharjah Book Fair“, “Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival“, “Sharjah Heratige Days” and the February must “Sharjah Light Festival“.

Sharjah Light Festival continue this year “2020” 10 years age, this festival one of it’s kind in the region where the popular Archietectural monuments and Landmarks presenting light shows from sunset. This festival take place yearly in February for 11 nights, using new light technologies which gives the landmarks an outstanding looks.

As a local of UAE maybe I had seen this light shows at least once, but it’s not the same experince when I planned to visit and watch the light show at “Sharjah Mosque” [the newest Landmark in the city]. Coming from Abu Dhabi just to watch & photograph the light show, it’s was worth? Defintely yes and thats why. The moving light show on the Sharjah Mosque was presenting “Islamic pattern” from the past and how it’s developed through the time until today, “Nature theme” Like water move & forest leaf. Also “Islamic & Arabic architecture arts” from deffrent era, this light show sorround the whole mosque a wonderful looks.

In conclusion the Sharjah Light festival gives the city a special deffrent looks than other cities, warm & joyful feels that was my feeling while watching the remarkable light show in “Sharjah Mosque“. It’s February must visit festival in UAE and get your camera ready for stunning shows either on Universities, goverments buildings, Mosques or musems.
